  • Life Cycle Activity: Students attach pictures to demonstrate the life cycle of a spider
 
Math
  • How Many More?: Students use manipulatives to build ten frames. They work on language such as “how many more” and begin to verbally express addition sentences
  • Roll and Count: Students practice subitizing by learning to read the dots on a die and match it to the corresponding number on their board
  • Number 8 Mat: Students practice number formation by filling a number 8 with manipulatives and tracing the number
  • Spider Count Sensory Bin: Students count the spiders on the web and match the group of spiders on the number on their board
 
Literacy and Phonics
