Here’s How it Works:

Children trace the uppercase and lowercase letter
They practice hearing the letter sound by saying the keyword.
Next, students pick the colors they will need to create each image
By creating shapes out of the dough, they will build each keyword

A recording sheet is provided so students can color in each letter as they complete the mat. This will allow them to complete a different mat each time they work on this activity until they eventually do each letter of the alphabet.
